Registered Homeopath

Homeopathy / n. the ‘method of treating disease by the use of small amounts of a drug that, in healthy persons, produces symptoms similar to those of the disease being treated’ Collins Concise English Dictionary.
Remedies used by homeopaths are made from minute quantities of the active ingredient specially formulated, working on the principle that a small amount is all that is needed to trigger the body’s natural system of healing.
Who sees a Homeopath?
Most people seeking a consultation with myself come with a diagnosis from their Doctor, which may be of migraine, allergies, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, eczema, asthma, menstrual problems, menopause, recurrent acute infections, ENT problems or something else.
This diagnosis is important but I will be treating you as a whole person. The most important thing is how you experience your symptoms and what effect they have on you, and the more you can say about them the better.
Homeopathy is safe for all ages and can be used throughout pregnancy. Remedies are non-addictive and it is not possible to overdose.
As I am registered with the Society of Homeopaths you can claim all or part of your treatment costs back if you are a member of Westfield or Simply Health. I have information and claim forms available at the practice, if you would like further information please get in touch.
